Lower secondary school (middle school) marks the entry of students into secondary education. Spread over 4 levels, students develop their knowledge and skills in different disciplines while preparing for further education and their future active participation in society.

From primary school to the end of middle school, Chantemerle provides an internationally recognized program, giving each student the opportunity to continue his studies according to his future orientation.

Chantemerle successfully prepares for the French National Brevet of Secondary Education as well as for entry admission exams into state high schools (public gymnases). Chantemerle also prepare for Certifications for French (DELF), English (Cambridge) and German (Goethe) languages.

Anxious to meet the needs of all students, an Advanced Preparation Program is open to all students with high academic potential who demonstrate the motivation to continue their studies in Switzerland preparing for the Swiss Matura or the IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate).
