Founded in 1966 and with a maximum capacity of 65 students, Chantemerle is a small-scale school known for its warm and personalised, family-like atmosphere.
Active throughout the school year, the school ensures professional supervision, high academic standards, and a safe, well-structured environment.
Each day at Chantemerle’s summer camp begins in a setting of beauty and inspiration. Ideally located in the heart of nature with stunning views over Lake Geneva, Chantemerle offers the ideal conditions for learning and living together in a calm, safe, and inspiring environment.
Boarding life at Chantemerle helps students develop positive habits within a balanced and natural setting. Screen time is thoughtfully limited to encourage sports, arts, outdoor activities, and meaningful social interaction between students.
A typical day at Chantemerle summer camp
- 07:00 – Wake-up and breakfast
- 08:15 – 13:15 – Morning learning programme (languages, revisions, leadership)
- 13:15 – Lunch
- 14:30 – 18:30 – Afternoon activities (sports, tennis/football, outdoor adventures, excursions)
- 19:15 – Dinner
- 20:30 – 22:00 – Evening activities (games, workshops, parties and social events)
- 22:00 – Lights out (depending on age)
The day is carefully balanced between learning, physical activity, discovery and fun time, creating a structured yet enjoyable summer experience.
