Academic programmes
Admission is possible throughout the year, students may enroll for one term to one year.
Learning French is one of the main objective of this programme. In the context of learning a new language, students can also learn English or German languages. The participants are also encouraged to participate in Maths, Science, History, or Geography classes in French or in English. The programme is based either on the Swiss curriculum or the Cambridge IGCSE / A level curriculum and can be adapted to the objectives and expectations of the student and its family.
At Chantemerle, students can prepare for internationally recognized language certifications in French (DELF), English (Cambridge), and German (Goethe). These certifications validate language proficiency and open doors to top universities and international opportunities.
Long-term permission is usually granted from the student’s main school, as time abroad and additional foreign languages are highly esteemed by universities, and add value to a student’s future college applications. We recommend however, that parents check first with the school at home how they will validate Chantemerle’s curriculum so that the student can return home without repeating the year.
