Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels Program: A Gateway to International Universities

International curriculum in English

Chantemerle is a registered Cambridge International School and proposes the Cambridge curriculum to students ages 11 to 18. The curriculum is based upon the UK National Curriculum and is taught in English. The programme is also adapted for those international students whose first language is not English.

In three stages, the pathway prepares international students for the official IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and A Level (Advanced) qualifications. Cambridge IGCSE / A levels are the world’s most popular international qualifications and recognized internationally. For those considering US universities, the American equivalent for A Levels are the AP examinations.

Students can also join this pathway for one semester or one year as part of our English immersion programme and prepare for official qualifications (one-year IGCSE preparation) or language certifications in English (Cambridge).

Stage 1 of this programme is well suited for young international students who wish to improve their English, while following an official programme of academic subjects :

  • English 1st or 2nd language
  • Combined sciences (physics, chemistry, biology)
