For three generations, Chantemerle school has remained true to the educational vision established by its founders, Mathilde and Jean Wegmüller: guiding every student towards their full academic and personal potential.
Today, this vision is carried forward by Yann Wegmüller, Director of Chantemerle, together with Anne White-Wegmüller, Katia Stanek-Gora, and a dedicated team of experienced teachers and educators who share the same commitment to every student’s success.

Boarding solutions
5-day or 7-day boarding solutions
Chantemerle offers 5- or 7-day boarding options, as well as flexible boarding arrangements.
Boarding students live on campus, where they study, dine, and participate in a structured educational environment. The boarding programme provides a safe and supervised setting, with daily routines, educational support, and communal life that foster autonomy, responsibility, respect for rules, and personal development.
A programme that meets the needs of local families
Day school at Chantemerle
Abour half of our students live in the area and study at Chantemerle as day students. Day students fully benefit from the structure of our boarding programme together with the boarding students :
- Full on-site academic and pastoral care at the school with flexible hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm
- Healthy and tasty home-cooked meals and snacks
- Supervised studies and assistance with homework on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
- A rich and balanced after school activity programme (Sport, Art and Nature)
The pick-up and drop-off of students can be arranged with our own shuttle buses (Blonay-Montreux-Vevey).
The intelligent and rigorous application of simple community rules contributes to the efficient and organized running of the establishment and its harmony. Chantemerle promotes digital education and screen time management. Digital access is controlled on the school premises. A team of dedicated and experienced educators garanties a healthy, well balanced and safe environment. Our on-campus school nurse follows the students in relation to their health.

The historic Chantemerle site in Blonay hosts the primary and middle school classes as well as the boarding facilities. Chantemerle is set in an exceptional natural environment overlooking Lake Geneva, with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. This calm and inspiring setting provides ideal conditions for learning, well-being, and the personal development of students. Designed as a place for both living and studying, the Chantemerle campus features modern and functional facilities: bright classrooms, study areas, comfortable 2- or 3-bed rooms, sports facilities, and outdoor spaces that encourage movement and relaxation. Four hectares of natural areas host animals, playgrounds, and expansive green spaces dedicated to exploration and well-being. A panoramic terrace facing Lake Geneva completes this privileged environment, offering a unique space for quiet, relaxation, and contemplation.
The LémanMaturité extension in Vevey hosts the pre-university classes (Swiss Matura and A-levels). Located just behind Vevey train station, this site offers a 600 m² urban and dynamic space while remaining close to the lake and the region’s cultural and academic infrastructure. This extension provides high school and gymnasium students with a study environment tailored to the demands of the Maturity programs, combining academic rigor, personalized support, and exposure to the university world.
