Cambridge International Upper Secondary Programme

For students ages 14 to 16 – IGCSE qualification

chantemerle proposes the international Cambridge lower secondary programme

Cambridge Upper Secondary school (middle school) marks the entry of students into Advanced Secondary education (high school). Learners develop their knowledge and skills in different disciplines while preparing for further education and their future active participation in society. The programme has been designed for students worldwide, including those whose first language is not English.

The programme can be followed in one or two years. The programme is also well suited for students enrolled in a study abroad / immersion programme to study in English.

At the end of the program, students may choose to take the official Cambridge IGCSE that is equivalent to the GCSE qualification in the UK. It marks the completion of the middle school programme and prepare students for the A-level certificate. The IGCSE is the perfect springboard to advanced studies in English (A level or IB diploma).

Students selected for the Upper Secondary Pathway must meet certain criteria :

  • Students must have a level of English equivalent to B1
  • Students must complete the school’s entrance tests in English and Maths.
  • Students will be interviewed, either as part of a school visit or via Teams/Zoom.
