Sport-Art-Study program at Chantemerle
Chantemerle Sport-Study and Art-Study programs bring together young talented athletes and artists who wish to combine formal academic training with high-level artistic or sports training (between 8 and 12 hours of training per week). Candidates for these programs are high-performing, motivated and autonomous students who are seeking to compete at the national level or to join an American university on a sports scholarship.
The academic curriculum covers the middle school and high school and could either be in French (Swiss Matura and French Bac) or in English (IB diploma). The academic weekly schedules are adapted in order to respect the art or the sport schedules (training and competition).
In order to combine high level sport, or art, with a quality school curriculum, Chantemerle school offers:
- Small classe sizes
- A school program adapted and respecting individual objectives
- A schedule in phase with the training sessions
- A pedagogy adapted to the skills and personality of each individual
- Qualified and motivated teachers who are concerned about the academic success of their students
- A balanced, healthy and structured environment
The sports club or arts academy concerned will be chosen together with the student and his parents on the basis of its experience in training young people and its ability to support the student in his/her career. A representative of the Chantemerle school has been specially appointed to maintain an optimal coordination between the club/academy, the students and its parents and Chantemerle teachers. This coordination is essentiel for a successful SPORT-ART-STUDY program.
